Massimiliano Boggetti is the Presidente of Alisei- Life Sciences National Technology Cluster. Graduated cum laude in Biological Sciences – Molecular Genetics specialization at the University of Milan in 1994, he gained a long managerial experience in the Biomedical and Diagnostic sector, both nationally and internationally. Since July 2019 he is CEO and shareholder of Diesse Diagnostica Senese SpA. He is currently President of Confindustria Medical Devices, President of CMD Services and member of the General Council of Confindustria. He was recently elected President of the pharmaceutical, medical devices and chemical section for Confindustria – South Toscana and is Coordinator of the Health Advisory Commission of Confindustria Toscana.

Graduated in Biotechnology, he holds two master, one in Scientific Communication and the other in Business Management. He began his career as a researcher, but then devoted himself both in institutional and corporate contexts, from business development to technology transfer and project management in the biotechnology field.

Graduated cum laude in Nuclear Physics, she obtained a PhD in Physics and a second level Master in Open Innovation and Knowledge Transfer. Silva Bortolussi has carried out and continues to carry out important scientific editing and dissemination activities, and research activities in the medical application of nuclear physics. Currently, she is Associate Professor at the Physics Department of the University of Pavia, member of the National Scientific Commission of INFN, and General Secretary of the International Society of Neutron Capture Therapy.

Graduated in Biotechnology, with a PhD in Industrial Biotechnology at the University of Milan-Bicocca, she worked for 3 years in the field of microbial metabolic engineering. From 2013 to 2018 she was the contact person for the INNOVATION area in Assobiomedica, dealing with startups, technological innovation, clusters, specialization networks, Horizon 2020 and funding dedicated to R&I at European, national and regional level. Since March 2018 he has been Cluster Manager of the Lombard Life Sciences Cluster, collaborating in the activities of the Alisei Cluster since 2012, having supported the technical secretariat of the Cluster in the last three years.

Graduated in Industrial Chemistry at the University of Genoa, he spent a decade-long career at Johnson & Johnson up to the position of General Manager. He was CEO of B. Braun and President of Assobiomedica, now Confindustria Medical Devices. He is currently Commissioner of Alisei since 2019 and a member of the Presidential Council of Confindustria Medical Devices.
